Ok. Well I tried. I have it and cut out all my Comcast services except internet. Haven't missed any sporting event or show. I have Hulu Plus also for $8/month.

I had both and Dish really really sucked the big one. Back on DTV. I been getting there service for over 16 years.

Direct is much better programing wise when it comes to sports.

I had DTV for 14 years. Left because of customer service issues.

Received a welcome back coupon with a special code offer. Decided to give them another chance at taking my money. After 3 transfers and being told the coupon code was a mistake (I shouldn't have received the offer) and that I would have to pay for my equipment (nearly $750.00 - part of the "mistake" offer), the representative hung up on me.

Immediately called Dish Network and couldn't be happier. I had a receiver go out, they shipped me out another one and then followed up with a phone call to have a technician come by my house to check out my entire system at no charge to ensure everything is okay. All unsolicited.

No way DirecTV would have ever done that.

Probably so. I get the feeling that Directv and ESPN have an uneasy relationship.
