I just read about it online. It just launched and streams a ton of cable channels for $35/mo which is a huge discount to regular cable. I'm trying to find a list of what channels are available but even the att store didn't have it yet. If you sign up now you're locked in at $35/mo forever they said

I don't get what you're trying to do with this thread.

It's AT&T....they'll figure out a way to change that.

There's channel list in the thread on the Tech board.

Because, you know...tech and stuff.

is that on top of the already astronomical bill for your satellite tv channels? or is this something to replace the satellite tv channels?

Most pressing is that the service doesn’t have CBS in its lineup

Google Fiber taking over. Won't be long until cables companies have to start modifying their business model. It has been long overdue imho.

That's not quite what they said. They said you'd be grandfathered in, but in the very next statement they said but rates will go up over time. What you're probably getting grandfathered in is the tier 3 service at tier 1 pricing which isn't a bad thing since you don't have to sign a contract.

There's a thread on the Tech board about it with a channel lineup on page 3 LINK
