Clearly this kid has never played Zelda

How’d they get to that conclusion? Not being a dick, genuinely curious

There’s very little evidence that flightless dinos had feathers. A few in China have been found but there are a lot of questions surrounding those. A small number of others have been found in other locations but again, there is much more evidence from skin impressions that most dinosaurs had rough, reptilian-like skin.
This “dinosaurs had feathers” narrative has been taken to the extreme. I have a feeling that scientists are going to start pushing this nonsense with other animals that predated dinosaurs like the synapsids. Dimetrodon didn’t have feathers, and if you try to tell me that, I’m going to vandalize the Wikipedia article.

Well that just looks like a gay dinosaur so inconclusive at best

That one is a bit flamboyant.

Noah was wise to keep them from entering the Ark.

It’s all in the hips. Not the feathers actually.

The Solnhofen Limestone is a very fine grained limestone from Solnhofen Germany where it was quarried to make lithographic plates. the limestone split naturally along bedding planes as it was quarried and some "bird" fossils were found there. At least they looked like birds, but they also had the look of lizards. After the first was found, several more were found.
As the fossils were looked at more closely (and unlike fossils of some dead animals, these fossils were of animals that died just before they hit the mud so their bones were in tact and mostly aligned as they were in life.)
And on some of those bones there were things that looked a lot like feathers. More than you want to knowLINK but it includes photos of the claws at the end of the wings, and a kind of chemical analysis of the feathers showing that their analysis is different than the sediments that surrounded the dead Archaeopteryx.

guess what, scientist make shite up
they have zero clues about color, their walking patterns, etc. they make shite up and claim it as fact, with ZERO evidence.
Best is when they get a group to back each other and push shite as facts. While sucking up our tax dollars, and getting even more grant money to make up even more shite.

This leap in logic has always baffled me.
"Nah, i don't believe it no matter the evidence. They are obviously lying"

The feathers make them more terrifying

yea because there are way more reptiles that looks like dinosaurs today than birds!

Only the raptors are being discovered to have had feathers. The ancestors of birds, their feathers weren't for flight, however, but for warmth.
It's not a stretch to think that some species that descended from fish evolved feathers from scales. Our mammalian ancestors evolved fur and hair, after all.

You're the one who is clueless. Scientists have discovered that pigmentation has molecular signatures that can be read even in fossils that are tens of millions of years old.
And walking patterns? Good grief, man, that's now a refined science.

Seen more feathery dinos in the quad.
