Alright OT Baws I need your help. I have 3 Armadillos that have continued to dig holes under my fence, break lattice, and generally wreak havoc in my back yard.I also have a small dog that does not need to be fighting with these nasty creatures.

I live in the city and shooting a gun is unfortunately out. Also animal control has told me that they have no way to deal with these things. So...

I need some suggestions on how to get rid of these little bastards. I'd rather not bash them with a shovel but I am running out of options.

Tell the neighborhood kids you'll pay $5/tail for dillo tails.

They're wooden live traps that come prescented to attract armadillo. And they work.

Not sure where you are but in MS you can find them advertised in the MS Farm Market Bulletin.

Live trap
No bait
Find path they are taking to shed
Set trap in pathway & block off sides

Shoot it or beat it with a shovel
Set it before garbage day so it can go right in the can

Haul it off go a wooded area far away from home
