They already submitted construction plans to the city for nearly 3 million square feet worth of buildings. One of Amazon's largest to date.

They have two stores at Mall of LA for instance. With some restructuring, they could move the clearance store there.

The big store is all ladies stuff and the other store contains housewares, mensware, furniture, and kid's clothes.
The ladies store is not large enough to house all of the merchandise from the other store.

Check out "Jasper Mall" on Amazon Prime. Depressing as hell, and I thought about Mama Brava's and Space Port the entire time.

Last time I went in there was about 4 years ago and it was just above being a warehouse. Everything was all unorganized. Everything looked like rejects from other stores that didn't sell. Felt like I could get better stuff at Goodwill.

Planning Application

They haven't submitted construction plans quite yet, but have submitted to the Planning Commission for Site Plan approval at the February 22 meeting.

I’ll never understand why anyone loves Amazon so much.

They have some good stuff but it takes time to look for it. They hardly had any men’s shoes a few weeks ago. If you need something specific like a pair of dress pants it’s pretty straight forward. If you’re just browsing you may be there several hours.

I don't have the patience to sift through racks of unorganized stuff. Even places like Marshalls get annoying to me.

Most of the clothes I wear these days don't come from mall department stores anyway.

I've been to that mall a number of times. My wife lived near Jasper in HS and her grandparents still did until they passed a few years ago.

7 years ago for me and I felt safer in the Bekka Valley in 1987.

One of our Baton Rouge freelancers for the Tigerdroppings News Network needs to do a farewell video from Cortana and take us all on one last stroll through the place.

Is this supposed to be an "insult". I probably have more pair of shoes than you do. You know.. I still take pride in how I present myself.

Planning Application

2,850,000 square feet, plus a 45,000 square foot office building.

I can't get over how big the new Amazon Cortana DC will be.
