He's saying you bringing up Bansky like it's ground breaking info is a tad late.

That Banks even has a security camera focused on it in case someone tries to break the plexiglass, crazy how valuable his stuff is

Dude went in dry on the Grey Ghost all over the city.
First ones I remember was the one on the Drop in center of the Umbrella girl on Rampart. I think most remember the Lincoln one that was ok the building corner, the first thing you saw when you exited Canal St. Wonder what happened to that one. You also had an awesome one of a brass band on OCH.... not lying when I say you had to be one of the first people to come upon the one on Tchop.

People have sold doors/walls etc etc he tagged for over 100k because he is so popular
I've seen them up for sale. Has there really been any that sold?
Not his artwork, but the graffiti that people remove walls for.

I've seen a few. One even notes that they can't sell the big pieces

Many people sell them to make some serious scratch.
I just got back from Amsterdam and while on the walk to the Van Gogh museum, came across a Banksy/Salvador Dali exhibit at the Moco museum and had to check it out. It appears collectors have them on loan to make this happen. Had some really cool ones inside.

I thought it was pretty cool how they preserved the wall.

Like SuperSaint said, B went ham on the Grey Ghost while here. His work on that is still preserved under plexi on the corner of Carondelet and Clio; a fave of mine. Reznor and Achoo are period stains.
