The good news, on my worst days at work ever since, I look back, and think, at least I don't have to go home and study.

Little did I know that certifications would require more studying than I had to do for half the college courses I took. I didn't know how bad I was at sudying until I had to prep for the CISSP. That sucked.

Probably much worse actually because a lot of the 1 hour labs were 10 hours of actual work on top of the normal class load at least when I was in school for my EE

Buddy, who is an anesthesiologist, said the hardest class he had in all of his classes was organic chemistry.

I started out in ChemE. Switched to EE* after taking organic!

*Degree in EE but practice in Structural after getting CE as well

Then why did you take it as an elective? You said you were an engineering major in the thread you lied about building your own house

I would say that's true for kids in high school. Once you got to college, though most of those kids had to adjust to learn to study. Very very few get through any real degree without a lot of studying

they did say that, and they were joking, I was in Civil Engineering and had to study my arse off, especially in the core courses, my hs didn't give me the prep that all of the foreign students(majority of engineering students back then,) had, I used to get Iranians to help me with calculus

I forgot, I did try being a financial planner for a short minute. The Series 7 exam was brutal, and studied a shite ton for that. But my annual certifications now could be sustained by chimpanzees.

We just had a lot of busy work, research papers etc.

My school didnt allow internet sources, as the net was relatively new and kind of wild. So we had to do physical research which took a lot of time.

Yep, my first computer class there was no windows, it was all MSDos.

We thought it was high tech at the time.

In HS we had typing, there were no computers.

You were born around 1960, why were you in college in your late 20s early 30s when you built your own first home after college in your 20s

You’re having a hard time keeping your own bullshite straight in your old age
