that makes their company the most money for their bosses.

By bosses do you mean the general public?

UHC is a publicly traded company and they are bound by shareholder primacy.

quote:

The Shareholder Primacy Doctrine:

This doctrine, which emerged in the 20th century, holds that the primary responsibility of a corporation is to increase the wealth of its shareholders. It has shaped corporate governance, investment strategies, and the broader framework for corporate law in many Western countries, particularly in the U.S. This principle has been criticized over time for prioritizing short-term profits over long-term sustainability or stakeholder interests.

lso means he's likely intelligent enough to understand how bad things really are for the average Joe.

I wonder if the CEO he murdered understood how bad things were as well? I mean, they ran in the same circles. Well, not really, Thompson didn't come from a wealthy family and had to attend a state school in the midwest (gross).

So let's start murdering CEOs!

You're one of a select few that are crying over this. It's an industry dominated by scumbags and UHC is at the top of the list. Just like the other murder you praised, many people are ok or at the least not upset by this one because of who he was and what industry he worked in.

Tow truck drivers are overall pretty despicable people in a despicable industry. Should we start shooting them?

What about personal injury attorneys?

Where do you personally draw the line in the sand?

I made that point earlier and was told it was dumb. Your words, not mine.

One was a child rapist. The other you were trying to justify because of class warfare.

Only communists like you enjoy violence because of class warfare.

Were you wearing your Che Guevara shirt while typing this? This scream "let's start a revolution"

Che was born with a silver spoon in hand. He was a rich boy playing at revolution. Not sure how he gets the love he does from the folks you're referencing.

quote:

I understand your anger and frustration but the CEO of UHC is not to blame for healthcare costs. Obamacare is. You are subsidizing leeches who refuse to be productive members of society.

Its all one system. its not changing anytime soon because of the money involved. The people who started the OG revolution in this country were all much wealthier and had (and did) have much more to lose than Che could ever dream of.

I truly dont think its a surprise the "youth" of this country will be the edge of this new movement were going to see. There's a reason the lions share of militaries are made up of kids between 18-25. You literally dont care about yourself. Only our youth doesnt have a fight. They just see how shitty things are and how much better they were for everyone not so long ago and they are longing to get that. Look at the UNC frat. Look at Trump winning again. This isnt going to go the way cancel culture wants it to go.

Yes. Like or dislike the deceased, killing those we disagree with is NOT an option

Need to make an example of him…..

Always the ad hominem with you, isn't it?

That's ok, I would be frustrated too if I argued myself into a position where my own words were easily used against me.

Not being upset is understandable.

Being OK with it when most people don’t have an actual beef with their own insurance company, let alone UHC, makes for a lot of deranged people.

I think that's more where most people stand. I probably should have worded it better.
