He is dead and his reputation was pretty terrible even before his death.

08 UK game getting interesting

A good friend of mine was Hunter S. Thompson's personal assistant for two years. She went to Vassar and took two years off from real life and moved to Aspen to bum around for two years.

She ends up meeting her future husband in Aspen and he had graduated from Tulane Law School and was chilling in Aspen as well. They move to NOLA and we become good friends and Hunter came to NOLA in the Spring of 2001 and was staying at The Pontchartrain Hotel in a suite.

He invites them over and says, "bring some friends". My ex and another couple show up and there is a MOUNTAIN of cocaine and anything you want to drink or smoke. We hang on the balcony overlooking St Charles and are having a great time, listening to stories he was telling. Then he just fricking snapped and called his ex assistant a fricking crazy count and threw a bottle of booze through a mirror and told us all to "get the frick out". Paranoia at its best. I've never seen a human do more coke in such a short period of time. More than an ounce of coke was snorted in like 2.5 hours.

What's your definition of famous? Never heard of who you posted.
