But seriously, I was an athlete and lettered in six sports. Luckily I did not realize how many girls were into me or might not have those memories. Fortunately my girlfriend lived 65 miles away and did not expect to be together all the time. She was chosen school beauty in a girls school with 800 girls, and was a twin. My baseball coach would drive 20 miles out of the way to pick them up for my games against schools in that area. I realize now it may have been for selfish reasons on his part. She was my first. Wondered since whether I should have suggested the pair of cufflinks with her twin.

Had my first girlfriend at 11-12 but knew the instant she showed up in fourth grade. She was later First Runner-up for Miss (my state) to a contestant who went on to an acting career - likely due to being 5' 2" while the winner was 5'10". Did not marry her, but dated her some in college where she was head cheerleader. Had a poster of her in a leotard on the wall in my dorm room and guys passing when the door was open would stop and look and say, "Holy F*ck! Who the hell is that?"

Don't know if I wouldn't give everything I own to go back to those days for just a week.

Yes, 17, and no. My HS gf was a freak, thank God for her. She ended up dating a dude in a different fraternity than me. I knew what that guy was getting, lucky dude. She was down for anything, good chick to date. She hasn't aged well though.
