My mom, but only because she wouldn't whip my arse like my dad did and I could always make my argument with her. With my dad, there was no arguing. It was... "this is how it will be". The worse thing my mom could tell me was "I am going to tell your daddy".

I was always much closer to my dad growing up. Still this way.
Love my mom though and I'm looking forward to doing more mother/daughter stuff with her now that she lives near me. I will say though that my mom and I did NOT get along when I was a teenager though
