My girl and I went on a senior cruise after graduation up on the Alaska strait.

Damn thing hit a iceberg and bim bam boom the thing sinks! She and I were floating around for awhile when I was able to secure a door and pull myself up and out of the freezing cold water. Alas, there was not enough room in the door for young Grace and I had to let her freeze and sink to the bottom. I got a nice necklace out of the deal when all was said and done.

No, but I’ve gotten rid of a few that thought they were going to be.

I had a girlfriend who I was just head over heels for. Did everything for her and was convinced we were going to be married one day. Then I went hunting and found out she cheated on me while I was gone. My world crashed down. The feeling of betrayal was overwhelming.

I moped around for weeks. Then started going back out with friends again and four months later I met my current wife. She was everything my ex was not and more. 16 years later we are happily married with a family, big yard, decent house, and a pain in the arse dog.

Life turned out just fine and I’m convinced (and will be til the day I die) that my ex cheating on me when she did was heavenly intervention.

Life doesn’t always turn out the way you want because what you want is sometimes in the way of what you need.

Also, my ex is now fat and nasty looking.

Bullet = dodged

I started dating a woman about 5 years ago that I just instantly clicked with. We could almost finish each others sentences. She was cute but down to Earth. Same religion, same politics, I could actually make her laugh (which is significant, I'm not the funniest guy, lol). Absolutely the type of girl that you would want to take home to the parents, the type of girl you would want to settle down with.

We didn't date long, for about a month (went on 5 dates) and she put me in the friend zone. Said she had wanted to give it time but that she just didn't see me as anything more than a friend.

That absolutely crushed me. We stayed friends since we both have a lot of the same interests. Part of me stayed friends because I was hoping she would change her mind and come back to me.

Now come to current day we are still friends but there's no chance. Heck we are both on the dating market again and she'll even talk about her dates right in front of me. I can't lie, that still hurts a little bit. With that said, what I've learned about her in the years since is that she hasn't been in a long relationship in awhile. I think it's because deep down she doesn't really know what she wants.

I've accepted that it just wasn't meant to be. But yeah I connected with her quicker than any other girl I've dated and it just felt right. I honestly did think that she could potentially be a woman I could marry. But my hope is God has other plans for me.

shite, who hasn't?

Dated a girl throughout college almost four years. Thought she was gonna be Mrs. EZE. Come to find out, she was a huge slut and fricked just about everything in sight, a couple of former friends included.

Good thing was, finding that out made the breakup so much easier on me. I was more relieved than anything.

Met the future Mrs. EZE about a year and a half later while I was still whoring around. Just figured she would be another fling but that didn't happen. LOL
