People run off that road, over correct, and then end up against a tree all the time on that road. Terrible that a couple kids were taken out this time. Prayers to all involved.

I'm sure we'll get a name soon enough, but someone could run those plates to get the owner. I wonder if it was just slick roads + speed or something more.

I live right off LA 74 (near Bluff Road) and didn't get any rain today.

No shoulder + elevated road. When you tire runs off the road you drop 6-8" and knee jerk reaction is to jerk back the other way causing you to over correct. Once every couple months someone dies on bluff from that. It is a pretty sharp curve right there so it could be that too.
