True. I was just thinking back to when I was 20 and it was not uncommon to see guys and gals my age who were married and had kids by that age. You'd also see a few single moms but they were rare. Times have changed and not for the better.

I wouldn't want to have to deal with someone else's kid. Have you been around many toddlers? If you think you can handle it then go for it. She may not want a stand in dad

Does she have a decent job where she supports herself? Her own home and car? Does she party a lot? Is she a responsible parent? These are the important things to consider. Not just what was probably a mistake at 20

From someone who has been through practically the exact same issue, it's not worth it. The kid will always have priority. You'll be called upon for daddy duties that you don't want, nor should you want. Honestly, what I did is what I would recommend. frick her for a few months, don't play the daddy roll in front of the kid. Avoid "family" things, then get drunk and break her heart and tell her that things would have been great if she would have made him wear a condom.

My mother had me at 23 and she was later than a lot of her friends. Times have certainly changed.

There's a lot of ladies out there that don't have kids. I feel like you better be really ready to grow up fast if you are gonna date a woman with a kid.

She just wants sex.

No relationship. There's already a baby daddy in the picture and she doesn't want to deal with that situation again. This isn't a girl who is going to be a cock tease. She's ready for it...NOW!

Here's the deal: She's a cute 22 year old single mother. That is a rather depressing situation for cute girl who could've accomplished anything in life before the pregnancy. She just wants somebody to make her feel desired, and the only way she'll feel desired enough to drown out her depression is if she believes a guy thinks she's hot enough to have sex with.

Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for you, sex is how she values herself now.

Hit it...several times

Quit it.

She'll respect you for it and move on to another guy.

Good luck, sir, you just hit the poon lottery.

How? Get lunch, go from there. Feel her out to see if she had caretakers, ideally family, available, else dating could be hard.

yeah it's definitely worse for society that people are waiting later when they are more fiscally secure to get married and have children

Ok a little back story.. Met this girl really cool chick.. Had a crush on her for about 6 months we always talk when were around each other with a little bit of flirting.. I can tell something is there.. Anyway I see her once maybe twice a week.. She works next door to me too.. The problem I'm running into is she has a 2 year old kid and that means a babies daddy.. Sunday night she comes to my buddies and says he took another job 2 hrs away and she's done so nows my chance.. My question is how I should go about it.. I'm 27 she is 22.. Never dealt with a kid before..

Dealing with kids isn't bad at all. But, the bigger question is, how mature is the Mom? That is the key. There are some very early 20 year olds who are well above others of their age. But, there can also be a LOT of drama involved. What kind of work does she do? Is she just trying to make ends meet or actively pursuing something better or climbing the ladder?

Depends on the girl but judging from the huge amount of dumbasses these days, I definitely say 20 is too young. I was a jackass at that age.

Wow. Don't act like you're that shitty of a person

You may have just given the wrong impression and left out things she did to deserve that. Even then it still sounds like a douche way to break up with a chick

My mother was 19 & married when my brother was born and 21 when I was born. Course that was over 40 years ago.
