I guess since Fowler's closed they're letting things go.

This actually used to be the description for Fowlers: no grass and bad balls.

Seems like with Fowlers closing, now would be the time to fix the place up to pick up Fowlers biz. Good balls, good grass, nice & clean club house.

and not running the AC is saving $700 a month?? Hahah. Come on man.

Anyone else finds it comical that a capital city with a city proper population of over 225,000 cannot have a decent driving range? Man, BR is really not a good golf city.

I agree, but some people get complacent when the competition lessens.

No kidding. That place is about the size of a typical house, and you don't even have to keep it conditioned after it closes. What a crock of shite.

I went last weekend. A friend of hers was cutting grass & kept chatting me up. Told me that her boyfriend who used to help with it ran off, or some shite, and he's trying to help out so she'll keep it open. I didn't ask for any of this info; he just wanted to know if I had a husband. Several times.

A few weeks ago, another employee told me the AC didn't work because the building had been hit by lightning. Ha.

She might have closed it today because she was stung by a wasp and is allergic. True story
