Pennsylvania man arrested for possession of child porn after disembarking cruise in Florida

A Pennsylvania man coming home from a Caribbean cruise ended up in the custody of U.S. Marshals who said they found child pornography on his phone.
Matthew Kutcher, who is from Plum, was in Miami late last month after being on a cruise. U.S. Customs and Border Protection said they discovered at least 10 videos of child pornography in a hidden folder on his phone.
The 38-year-old is now being charged with possession and transportation of child pornography.
Child pornography allegedly found on Kutcher's phone
According to the criminal complaint, Kutcher finished a cruise at the end of March, and he entered the U.S. at a port in Miami. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers inspected his property. Kutcher agreed and provided the passcode to unlock his iPhone.
That's when officers discovered several videos of child pornography in a hidden photos folder.

When asked about the hidden folder photo album on his phone, Kutcher told agents that he wanted to contact a lawyer.

This. I’ve read that porn addition is similar to drug addiction. They start out looking at normal stuff like playboy then over time that doesn’t do it for them any more and they keep progressing to more and more degenerate forms of porn. Don’t know if there is actual sconce behind that, jsit remember seeing something about it.

No doubt a setup. Apple, Google or cloud provider tipped them off. How the hell would they find a hidden folder? And why would they even know to look?

Telegram. Eversince the owner got arrested in Europe and was charged with being complicit with trade of CP on his app. So to stay out of prison he agreed to allow law enforcement across the world access to his data.
Their Transparency bot gives you the report of requested access in the USA every month.
