darts?

Is that really worthy of a late night trip to Wally World?

Maybe Al-Qaeda will start buying these same darts at Wal-mart, soak the tips in poison and then start a country wide terrorist campaign where they randomly kill bar patrons in pubs across American.

Imagine the social and financial impact on the nighlife in this country if that were to happen

i take real threats real seriously

So the '93 WTC attack, attacks on the USS Cole, African embassies, 9/11, London, Madrid, etc. don't constitute a real threat?? How many people have to die before it is a real threat?

Right, and when was the last attack on American soil? I agree it is going to happen but something that spuratic is not my main concern. I don't have the numbers but more people die from fellow Americans in between terrorist attacks than what actually die from the attacks. So what should we be more worried about? Homeland security or the guy walking behind us late at night?

Since 9/11, Al Qaeda's ability to commit large scale attacks have been greatly diminished. Since then, in America we have seen plots from sympthasizers that are small in comparison to 9/11 (shoe bomber, Fort Dix, the guy wanting to blow up pipelines to an airport, etc.) So a plot on Walmart would fall within that type of attack. Enough with the arrogant Mr. Know it All BS ok? You just think you know everything about every topic in the world and that can't be true.

shite if terrorists are really that concerned there are some industrial targets they could go after that would frick america

running a plane into the lng plant in south south LC (or hell, the one in the middle of boston, MA) would be pretty bad you know

See my post above. We have cut off so much of Al-qaeda's top leadership and financial ties that they probably couldn't pull off another 9/11. Instead, they are left mainly with the capability of sending out propaganda tapes and hoping some sympathizers will carry out some type of crude attack.

I love when people resort to making assumptions. It just proves they have no arguments left.

What they want to do is disrupt the daily lives of Americans, including instilling fear in your daily routines.

No wonder you were so paranoid when you hit the walmart last night. Do you drive a cab like Mel gibson did in that movie and wake up in strange places with large smoke stacks.

yall are giving this guy a hard time(yes, the Economic bragging was pretty douchey), but how do you explain what he was describing? Why would 2 Arabs with backpacks walk into Wal Mart, then right back out?

You wouldnt be the least bit suspicious if that were you? I would.

What the heck are you talking about? I destroyed your argument about how WalMart is not tied to the US economy and this is all that you can come up with. The CIA just stated a few weeks ago that Al-qaeda's strategic capability is now severely diminished.

the problem with a wal mart, especially with what you feel they value in attacks, is the impact

the "body count" argument is one i've debated since 911

if the terrorists wanted body counts, they would have done their attack on 9-10 during monday night football in denver

the same applies here. why wouldn't they just wait until CFB season and set a bomb off in the middle of tailgating at some college, or possibly in the stadium itself. you could get a bomb in a CFB stadium easily
