I will always take advantage of these rebates to get the OTD price as low as I can. Once the deal is done, I immediately go to my credit union and bank to see if I can get a better interest rate, which I always do. So I got the best price on the truck that I could along with the best interest rate available to me. I've come out better by doing this on quite a few occasions. If you had a good credit score and a relationship with a bank, you'd already know this.
So suddenly the clueless poster is now the expert. Got it.

It won't be a part of the RISC (retail installment sales contract) It'll either be disclosed on the Buyer's order or they'll have had you sign another form specifically called the "Conditional Delivery" or "Spot Delivery" agreement. You should have gotten a copy with all of your other paperwork.

You asked for feedback. You received feedback you didn't want to receive, then you turned county.
Yes, I requested feedback. Not your false accusations. I laid out the facts and you just wanted to try and pick them apart, which you failed at, rather than contributing anything.

It's likely I did sign one, they didn't put it in my copy of the paperwork though.
I just left him a message again requesting a call back and stated that I would be returning the truck if I don't hear back.
I'm not trying to get over on anyone, I'm trying to get the issue resolved. I don't want anything coming back to bite me. If I wait to finance the truck after it's loaded up with miles, I'll likely be stuck with a higher rate because it will be viewed as used and I'm still paying the new price for it. That could screw me in the long run if I don't keep it long enough to pay it off.

Are you planning on driving to Canada in the next few days? If not, this will resolve itself before any detrimental issues to the truck. Unless you wreck it.

I wasn't planning to, but now I might.

I guarantee what is "wrong with the loan" is that the guy or dealership lied about his financial situation. Customers will overstate their income quite often. When a bank is approving things on the fly, they approve by what the customer states, then go back and recheck it later. I guarantee the guy said he makes $40k and only makes 20. The first car I sold, the guy did that. Almost cost him the loan completely, as in this case, and did cost him about 5 interest points. He got pissed at us until my finance mgr. called him on it and told him he was lucky not to be walking. He backed off pretty quick

It could have been a number of reasons, not just the POI stip.

Paying less for miles I put on it would never cross my mind. Who even thinks of that?
Occupy Wallstreet types

The amount of miles doesn't make it new or used, it's the number of owners, if you put 5000 miles on it by driving to canda for no reason, sure they would have a harder time selling it, but it doesn't effect your financing options.
Have you ever thought of maybe just going up there instead of calling constantly with no callback?

I have a bank I deal with on a regular basis ready to go at an even better interest rate and they are willing to give me gap insurance for free.
Well you are dumber than I thought. You get to legally get out of the credit union deal and get a better bank deal and you haven't done it yet? WTF do you want? Get the bank deal and call the credit union and say thanks but no thanks.

Go back and read dumbass. Bank needs info from the dealer who won't return calls.
Haven't been up there yet because I haven't had time.

Not too sure about that. A demo vehicle should be sold as a used vehicle. One owner, the dealership.

If a vehicle gets titled, it's considered used. If a vehicle is a demo and has a certain amount of miles on it, it may be considered new or used depending on what policies are in place for whatever financial institution buys the deal.

Titled or not, in the eyes of the FTC, you'd better sell that car with a Used Car Buyer's Guide.

not necessarily to financiers
most places will finance a vehicle 3 years old or younger as new, so you can get the best rates

just accept the CU's counter offer and then take their paperwork to your bank
they'll be happy to refinance it for an 800+

Actually you do own the truck, you just owe money on it. Take the papers you signed to a lawyer.
Posted on 9/16/14 at 4:05 pm to Croacka
Well, I can tell you this, that does not happen at my establishment. A vehicle should not be considered new if it's 2014 and the vehicle is 2011, regardless if it has 10 miles or 10k miles.
I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen at most places. I've never seen a financial institution say a vehicle is new if it's 3 years old.

Bull shite....They stay open till at least 8 or 9 pm. You didn't go because you thought you were getting away with something. What can you do over the phone that would make you not need to go over there?
There's more here......you should come clean.
