It’s funny you bring this up because today I sent the music video of Proud to be an American to a buddy of mine
Joke being we went to an LSU game together a few years ago and while tailgating I joked about how probably the first few games (not in a row) I ever went to starting in the 1990s always had Lee Greenwood there to sing that song
Then sure enough in 2015 or 2016 I was there with my friend and the announcer said before the national anthem “ladies and gentleman, Lee Greenwood!!” And he sang that song.
We looked at each other and laughed our asses off !
