Did anybody go check out the Spillway open today?

This is one of the greatest modern marvels of LA engineering. In hours all of the water in Lake Pontchatrain will be displaced by fresh, clean, Mississippi River water. We are so blessed.

This is the Great Douching of 2018.

Sorry, I just don't find watching a spillway being opened very exciting.

Do they have the electronic signs out on I-10 past LaPlace yet telling the idiots not to stop on the interstate and look at the water coming out of the spillway?

They are opening it tomorrow, was in Norco doing some work today and drove down to the river off River Road. They have the backhoes all set up to start opening it though
