There's likely some big arse hail in the heaviest precip returns to the north of it too.

Make sure to check in as safe on Facebook so I know that you're OK

Wouldn't be surprised to put a tornado warning on it pretty soon. It's got a decent bit of spin aloft right near where you'd expect.
Not surprised on the hail reports. Radar suggested baseball or possibly bigger.

This system has to be a meteorologist nightmare as quickly as these storms are developing.
I'm not a weather nerd by no means but I look at radar all the time since I'm always going fishing offshore and I dont ever think I've ever seen storms suck up energy AMD blow up as fast as these are.
My thoughts are with the people living in the area that's going to be impacted by these storms.
Sort of reminds me of the movie End of Days as fast as these storms are blowing up

"vertically integrated liquid"
Well just say hail.
Well just say hail.

Its the amount of liquid in the cell itself measured vertically. While it doesnt have a direct correlation of how big the hail it, the larger the number the bigger the hail visually observed.

THeres a rather large rotation in that same cell with some 100mph gate to gate winds...

We would appreciate a separate thread teaching us the intricacies of your weather nerdness.
I for one would love to learn.
