I laid down at 10 and stayed dressed just in case and at about 11:15 all hell broke loose. Two areas of circulation. One went right over me. Trees down all over the place apparently.

I love how weather men get stuff wrong two weeks in a row and then completely overcorrect.

I just got some nastiness here in CenLA right at 3:15 AM


Power went out and it woke my arse up

ETA: nothing tornadoy but lots of lightning & strong winds

As I type this... power's been out almost 30 minutes... let's see how long CLECO takes to get the lights back on

I’m driving from So Louisiana to Dallas area today.. how are things looking weather wise this afternoon for DFW? Also, staying in the Irving area, heard there might be some flooding, should i book hotel in another part of town?

Ok... after stepping outside to go to work this morning... I'm convinced a weak tornado hit my place last night

Any OT mets wanna look at radar signatures around 3:15 this morning and see if something stands out just north-northeast of Alexandria?
