So right idea it looks like...
Just missed the timing by two hours and counting.

I'm south of DFW and it definitely looks like something is trying to pop off to the north of me. Decent bit of lightening

I’m in uptown. On watch tonight. So far so good but the radar near stephenville looks pretty intense.

There's a boundary that's running from a little north of Fort Worth to about Frisco. Figure it gives a focus for the energy coming from the southwest to blow up some storms right over the metroplex and eventually merge with the McKinney end of the NE cluster.
Who knows, maybe I'll actually be right. Of course, since I bothered to post it, odds are greatly diminished.

Tornado threat died with the sun but these cells moving into NW La and SW Ar are stout as hell.

I am satisfied that it looks like we have escaped.

Do you mean Mineral Wells?

We are getting a lightning show a little south of DFW with some rolling thunder. Not seeing much on the weather app though

I've been watching the northern lightning show from Cedar Creek Lake.
In what county are you located?

Raining at the ballpark in Arlington.

I'm over near Waxahachie / North Ellis County. Getting real good thunder now

Nice lightening show and booms all around but nothing else. Still dicey or big show is moving east?
Posted on 6/19/19 at 10:50 pm to LSUGrrrl
There is supposedly a storm growing between Arlington and Fort Worth - per the NWS.

Seems to be moving out of my area. I have one dog who seems to be a weather radar who's passed out now.
But also the lightening is off to the east of me now and most of the thunder is gone.
