No. LIABILITY. Look it up. They will try to knowing they will not lock the campus down completely. Your professor was right to keep you there.

Yes, they can. Certain staff and faculty have been trained to respond to "lockdown" alerts
The streets might be be 100% cleared but all essential services and building can be shuttered in minutes.

It's not on lockdown. They didn't even lock down the lab school. Kids were walking all over campus within 10 minutes of the text from LSU.

Doesn't appear that you should be worried baw. Those on campus can see PD moving with not much urgency. Have not had any reports of suspicious persons roaming the campus either
