I would love to be able to take the stairs in my building since I work on the 14th floor but once you enter the stairwell you can't gain access to any door except the bottom one. It's emergency only. I try to go walk around the block a couple times a day. I figure if people are taking 6-10 cigarette breaks a day I can go for a 5-10 minute walk.

I like jumping rope and doing jazzercizes to break a good sweat a couple times throughout the day. I'm on the second floor so I think the jump rope sometimes bothers the group working below us, but I do keep the music turned down pretty low when i'm doing my aerobics.

hope this is helpful to you.

I don't stay active at work. I pretty much sit at a computer for 8 hours. But I workout in the mornings and will sometimes go for a run in teh evenings to try to balance it out.

Stair runs every hour? Don't you smell like a mule by the end of the day?

I miss working in building with stairs. I used to randomly go 4-5 flights every couple of hours just to wake up a bit.

I don't do anything now, aside from going to the bathroom/getting water, which makes it even more important that I hit the treadmill when I get home (which I haven't been doing in the fast several months)

I don't stay active at work, but I walk/run for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week, outside of working hours.

I attempt to walk around every 30 min. Sometimes I just walk around office and sometimes I'll walk down to my truck. I drink a lot of water too so that I'm constantly going to restroom

I go hit some balls in the simulator or hit some putts. Not much exercise, but it's better than staring at spreadsheets all day.

I know a toooon of people do this everyday, but what do you do after the workout, cleanliness wise? Do you shower after? Wash yourself with a rag or something?

When I workout I don't look like I just got out of a swimming pool, but I would definitely be worried about any odor or sweatign before going back to the office.

Well it's 5 floors of stairs and 1/4 a mile from my truck to my desk.

That helps a bit.

It's also the annoying bureaucratic type of shite meant for dumb people that annoys employees in a professional setting.

Sitting at a desk all day to earn a living has to suck.
Couldn't do it.

Going in to work is like Christmas morning each day for me. I can see how it would suck at some ho hum grayscale cookie-cutter firms, but I love what I do.

What line of work are you in, if you don't mind me asking?

I'd like to think I smell pretty good. My hourly stair run things are just about 5 flights at a time. Nothing too strenuous to break an obvious sweat.
