Great news. Too bad our shitty criminal justice system couldn't have taken care of it sooner.

Jim's Firearms averaged sales of 2 guns/day to hunters...during that time it was 20/ day almost all of them to women.
I worked at Jim's during that time... It was crazy. Nonstop women coming in all day wanting pepper spray and guns/

But a part of me is sad, because he is taking the knowledge of what really happened with him to the grave. He never confessed to anything, yet he was guilty as hell and the evidence was there. I just wish authorities could have tortured the truth so families could get closure. There are still some bodies out there that have not been recovered.
I don't think he was ever going to admit to anything or show any remorse publicly, anyway. Maybe after his death, we'll find out he talked to someone, but then you have to decide if the info is even credible.

sounds like he is where he deserves to be now...burning in hell

Now we're not paying for his fatass to sit around all day anymore.

Eugenie was a victim..IMO
Eugenie Boisfontaine's case is reopened. They don't think DTL did it. DNA was not as plentiful since she was found in Bayou Manchac, but there was some and it wasn't a match.
There is a show on Discovery now called "Killing Fields" and it is about the current investigation into her death.
I've watched it the last 3 weeks.

There all kinds of stories going around. At one time they were looking for an explorer with a wrecked door. My friend happened to have one so a few days after that story broke they knocked on our door checking hers out and swabbing people

If my name was Ann Pace, Lynda Yoder (or any of the other victims family members' names) I would want to see his cold lifeless body on the morgue slab.
I would stick a fork in him to make sure he's done!

I moved to BR in 2002 right at the time DTL was stalking and murdering women. It was creepy. I kept a DTL "wanted" poster taped to the inside of my front door as a reminder to not throw open the door when someone rang the bell. In all (or most) cases, there were no signs of forced entry at the murder scenes.
My office manager was creeped out as well. She lived in St. Francisville and was constantly worried because her husband was out of town a lot. I tried to convince her there was no way that he was out in the boonies and as it turned out, he did live out there. I got an "I told you so!"
