They told the expert witness that he can’t be offering up his own opinions instead of being led to it by the prosecutor so they cut it. You can see the judge explaining to him here and they’re gonna tell the jury to go home for the day.

Re-upping because the question got lost at the bottom of the page.

Sounded like they lost the feed to one of the "family rooms" and the judge wanted to make sure the families were able to watch. Because of that he ended the day early. The interesting thing is that it happened after he judge stopped the testimony to tell the prosecutor to be more specific in his questions and the witness how to answer.

If they reconvene tomorrow after the prosecution has had a chance to go back over how to properly testify in court with their witness, and he comes back tomorrow and is still giving opinion outside his area of "expertise", the defense should move to strike his testimony completely.

Clearly some of you haven't spent much time in court. She is as dressed up as the average person with a case before the court.

4:25 p.m.

Judge Peter Cahill asked the jury to leave the room and spoke to Donald Williams II, telling him that his testimony is going beyond what the parties agreed to in pretrial hearings. He said comments like the one about Chauvin making the "kill" choke is too far.

Already seems both argumentative and prejudicial to the case. It's seems very precarious to allow this witness to continue to testify.

So is sticking a gun in a pregnant woman’s stomach to rob her. He should’ve never seen the light of day ever again. I’m glad he OD’d and you should be too. The community where he existed hit the lottery that day

When a grand jury determines that there is a prima facie case to be made for potential wrongdoing, it is sometimes necessary to determine truth and justice in the form of a trial, even when the alleged victim would not be considered an upstanding member of society.

We need to establish that if you get cranked up on heroin, police have the right to detain you.

When will the state pathologist who performed the autopsy testify?

Although asphyxiation is not indicated (there is no causative agent listed in the report, only several "complicating" factors that ultimately resulted in cardiopulmonary arrest), the state pathologist's report indicated "neck compression" due to the restraint.

On the off chance that there's a physiologist on the board, what are the implications of "neck compression"? Did the restraint compress Floyd's carotid arteries? Could compression of the carotid arteries in a person with advanced arteriosclerosis be enough to cause cardiopulmonary arrest?
