Does the rebuttal meet that? I dont foresee the judge giving in.

there’s just no way in hell I could convict him.
sad thing is the defense has made a good presentation to the jury and I don't they could, in good conscious, vote to convict but I think there's too much racial/societal pressure to not find the white cop guilty, and I believe that regardless of the outcome the public result will be pretty much the same

Chauvin could be a Van Heusen model with those dark shirts and ties.

Defense is making a good plea about the influence outside of courtroom. Sadly, nothing will be done

Let him off. He just had a bad day.

Nelson mentions Maxine Waters call to consequence for an acquittal and the exposure of a non-sequestered jury to attention on the case.
Posted on 4/19/21 at 4:07 pm to Sherman Klump
It's pretty astounding they didn't sequester the jury.

Nelson making a pretty good case for appeal. I'm guessing thats the point if the outcome isn't what they want.

Nelson is so right on this.

Defense is stretching it calling for a mistrial because jurors had access to social media.

Judge just said, “well you’re setting up good for an appeal”.
This will end in a mistrial.

Goddamn - Judge says Representative Waters may have given you something on appeal.

Just my $.02:
Quick verdict (i.e., <8 hrs) means guilty.
The longer it goes, the better for the defense... unless it goes TOO long (i.e., days) in which case it is tilting back toward the prosecution because they jury has maybe one holdout and the judge wants them to keep going.
If this is a hung jury, it will take days to get there.

The judge just admitted that Mad Max's comments are very likely positive for the defense in a possible appeal !
frick this kangaroo court and bullshite. No reason there should not have been a change of venue

And he also doesn't know about CBS outing jury members
