You are correct. IMO it is clear, other people will view it differently.

I hope Chauvin gets off and is able to sue Minneapolis and Minnesota for millions.

Fentanyl killed Floyd
If someone were to even be in the ball park of overdosing on Fentanyl or any opiate, they would not even be able to stand up, much less talk/walk/resist arrest. He may well have been fricked up out of his mind, but he didn’t OD on Fentanyl.

Ok I will - but doing this will only lead to further the argument as many others jump in to rebut the point from their view.

But unnecessary force on a subdued person which contributed to his death.

This entire conversation has already happened on this site several times over the past year. I just don't see the point in doing it again.

What did the training manual that Derek Chauvin, and every other officer in that department, outline as to the proper procedure to follow during such an encounter with a suspect?

Imagine trying to get a juror with no knowledge of this case

That's not the goal. The goal is to find people that, regardless what they have seen or heard, can hear the facts presented and make a decision without biased opinion and of what was presented

It is in the double top secret manual:

" Don't use excessive force on a subdued person till they die and sure as hell don't do it on video "

I mean he could have OD'd but it doesn't mean it was the leading cause of his death. Certainly didn't help him in a confrontation with police

Wow......Why were the cops called in the first place????? Well evidently George had committed a crime while having a very dangerous drug in his system...... there is a reason the cops were called..... SO many people don’t want that part brought up.... however , what Chauvin did means he should spend many many years in prison........

It’s not that hard to figure out...

If George was just minding his own biz and not breaking the law this would have never happened.....FACT.......

-I don't know why the cops were called
-I don't know what the cause of death was
-I don't know George Floyd's toxicity
-I don't know what other contributing factors may have impacted the results of that day

-I assume all that will be addressed in the jury trial.

All you that are making blanket statements for either side are full of shite and should rightly be disqualified from any potential jury.

The frickery by the prosecution in this case is going to be astronomical. I expect a Freddy Gray 2.0 situation in their desperation to throw this dude in jail.

I would say just whatever amount that would be so strong to the persons body that it would make their respiratory/heart rate so low that they die. And someone even on the verge of that from an opiate overdose would be completely comatose. As far as the exact amount it depends on the tolerance level, I think when Kurt Curbain shot himself, he had like 3-4 times the amount of Heroin in his system that would kill a normal person, but he was an ultra junkie so his body could handle it.

Not sure of the exact number but I believe the tox report said it was a lethal dose, IIRC.

I think they say like 75% max toxicity is when it starts counting as an OD
