Twitter is MELTING over this. They are dismissing it as an inaudible soundbite, that it doesn't mean "his knee on his neck for 9:29 didn't kill him", and that if he was on drugs they should have given him NARCAN. You can tell they just want to believe what they want. Cities are going to burn after this trial.
is there any way for you to copypasta some into here so we can all see the melts please?

What is this about? Are they trying to say Chauvin killed him with carbon monoxide now?
It looked like a route they may turn to except Nelson just annihalated that with like 5 questions LOL.
This dude is going to be really famous.

Agreed

It sounds like he said
“I didn’t do no drugs”
Not “I ate too many drugs”
Who says they ate drugs? Nobody! You swallow drugs.
quote:
If #GeorgeFloyd yelled out "I ate too many drugs", then the cops are showing themselves to be incompetent and intentionally trying to hurt Mr. Floyd by not rendering him aid. They all had Narcan kits? Why didn't they use them? This is just point to Chauvin's guilt. #ChauvinTrial
quote:
You couldn’t see that puddle of “condensation” until they lifted Floyd off of the ground ..this whole argument is bullshite !
quote:
“I ate too many drugs”-I don’t hear it. This is some Laurel and Yanni shite. How is this even admissible evidence? #ChauvinTrial
quote:
Still confused as to how proving someone does drugs or is on drugs is a defense for murdering them. His drug use didn’t cause him to attack the cop. His drug use wasn’t cause of death on autopsy. So why are we still talking about drugs #ChauvinTrial
quote:
If Floyd said he was not on drugs that makes Chauvin guilty bc he put his knee in Floyd's neck.
If Floyd said he was on drugs that makes Chauvin more guilty bc he didn't provide aid and even knowing that he put his knee in Floyd's neck.
Defense is a joke.

Dear People,
I realise that many of you aren't fluent in AAVE, and it's easy to hear words that sound familiar to #Wypipo. However, "I ate too many drugs" is the exact opposite in meaning of "I ain't do any drugs", despite how similar they may sound. #ChauvinTrial
quote:
Even if the statement was “I ate too many drugs” 9 minutes and 29 seconds on someone’s neck is a more compelling killer

I know they said there were a total of 50 agents investigating. Did they say how many were FBI?

Meanwhile ABC News over there talking about how Nelson is overwhelmed by doing the trial by himself and having a tough time trying to process all the info given to him in the background. lol

It has to be conflicting for these officers to testify. You know they generally don't like defense attorneys but at the same time how happy are they, other than the police chief, that they have to testify against a fellow police officer?

I strongly suspect that in the end it will be conviction on the lesser charge.
Is that the consensus here?
He won’t walk scott-free. But his conviction on the lesser charge won’t satisfy Woke. They will be apoplectic, they will be outraged, and they will riot because all they will see is “cop acquitted for murdering sweet dear George, system is RACIST.”

No

Why not? You think 12 people will all agree to be in favor of sending an innocent man to jail?

Even if Floyd said "I ain't do no drugs" then he was lying and prevented Chauvin, and the other officers, from knowing what potential medical attention he needed. It really doesn't help the State.

At this point, I’m leaning 60: Walks free, 40: lesser charge. Unless things drastically change, 0: murder

The bigger point was to paint the defense in a bad light and make them look manipulative by saying they played the video out of context to make it look like Floyd said something he didn't.

No, it's looking like it'll be nothing
