I saw a highlight where Chauvin lawyer was trying to reintroduce evidence that included Floyd’s previous arrest where he swallowed drugs and pictures and evidence of drugs Floyd spit out in the police car from this arrest. Did the judge allow that in?

Ref the 27 million to Floyd's family, do you who and the amount each received?

I don’t really think we’ll see a repeat of the looting and destruction we saw last time, even if he’s found not guilty. I think the black community got it out of their system so to speak and the shock value from seeing the video for the first time isn’t there either.

Brings up an interesting business plan

1. Buy building near where Floyd died

2. Purchase insurance on it

3. Put up trump signs day of verdict

4. Profit

I'm curious as how they come up with that amount. $27 million for a guy that contributed nothing to society. Drug abuser, in and out of the hospital from overdosing, convicted felon.....basically a leech.

LOL! The insurance, if you can find a company willing to cover acts of terrorism, would cost more than the building.

Doesn't matter how me or you spell it. The insurance adjuster is always going to spell it that way.

It seems to me the court tv commentary is started to accept that Nelson is kicking prosecutions arse. Even a couple of the minority commentators.

I saw a presser with the Floyd family also. Someone needs to sit them down and have an honest conversation with them about how this case is going...

I think a big piece of testimony yesterday was the training guy saying if this was a proper neck restraint Floyd would have been unconscious within 10 seconds.

Also the lady trainer is going to be called as a witness for the defense.... WOW.

Can't wait to hear how the judge will rule on the Hall testimony (pleading the fif)...

Twitter and CNN will just have to step up their game then.
They have a clear motive of what they're doing

Yes, you're right. I'm sure they'd rather have the verdict come as a complete surprise to anyone who has been getting their news from only them... What a shame...

I completely understand Floyd's family acting the way they are. People grieve in their own way and try to find a reason why, even if what they want to believe is not necessarily of sound mind.

For example, my best friend was killed 5 years ago when his motorcycle was hit by a car. He worked in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations focusing on minor sex crimes. His dad, to this day, believes that his death was related to that work and not just someone not seeing his motorcycle.

Now, his dad isn't out there stirring up unrest or publicly blaming the Phoenix police for covering things up, even if he believes they are, so the Floyd family needs to stop with that but I get why they believe Chauvin killed him instead of Floyd being responsible for his own death.

Did this LA cop just say that Floyd wasn't attempting to resist arrest or kick?

You can't understand why Floyd's family don't want to blame Floyd for his own death due to having a drug overdose? I'm not defending their actions in helping stoke the unrest and riots. I'm just saying I understand why they want to place the blame on a third party and not on Floyd himself.

ETA: I should say I'm not even defending them believing what they do just that I understand it.
