He didn’t have to testify in a trial, b/c his dad executed the guy that hurt him. I doubt he gets warm and fuzzy talking about the fun times he had with his molester.
Madison won’t have to testify, either.

Another tip unrelated to the thread. No one is going to read a solid wall of text. Break it into easily readable paragraphs.

There have been some terrible takes in this thread, but this may top them all.

He absolutely gets a feeling similar to that of a Christian witnessing about God.
Jody sees it as his mission in life to not be defined by what happened to him and to share every intimate detail of his story with anyone who will listen or read about it.
And it's not for attention(as Rag used to accuse him of doing), but for that small chance that his story, and knowledge he shares, may prevent this from happening to another child.

“Thats news to me....I thought the affidavit said she asked them for a ride and the video shows her running after them leaving the bar. “
The affidavit was written based upon what Carver and Washington told the cops when they were trying to justify dropping someone off on the side of Burbank at 3 am

Have you ever asked any of these females in your life? If you did, do you honestly think they’d tell you what happened to them
I've known several women that were raped including a family member that was in a sorority and was raped by multiple men when she was severely intoxicated in a situation not too different than this case. None of them walk around in fear or intimidated on a daily bases of men.

Good. I’m glad he’s able to do that. Not every victim is able to overcome what has happened to him/her. I don’t have statistics to cite, but I’m pretty sure lots of victims of child molestation and rape become future episodes of “Intervention,” or fuel the suicide/overdose statistics of Baton Rudge. I could be wrong…Maybe most such victims write novels and go speak out to prevent future crimes.

Where can I purchase their novels/autobiographies or hear their “Ted Talks” or trial testimonies?

Maybe so. With Madison’s it could’ve probably been prevented all together if there was a cop in Livingston Parish that would’ve interviewed a couple witnesses in KW’s alleged first degree rape of the 12 year old. We can always hope and send “thoughts and prayers,” because that helps.

I've been hammering it home to my oldest child since Stanford Brock raped that passed out girl.
1. Never ever get black out drunk unless you're with very good friends.
And now.
2. Do NOT sit around distracted at night, whether at a railroad crossing, Gas pump, or stop light. That goes for any town not just Baton Rouge. Look around you and in mirrors constantly. And get a move on as soon as possible.
I've been doing that for years from pizza delivery experience.

I know they’re not gentlemen. They’re rapists.

Thank you. A friend of mine was NYPD. He told me that he always sits in the chair with a wall behind him at tables in restaurants and bars so he could throw it up as a shield if someone starts shooting.
He also told me that the only persons “looking around” out in public are crooks and cops - everyone else are the “victims.”
Whenever we’d go out, he’d walk in the rear to keep an eagle eye out for us.

I'm sure not and I did not mean to give that impression. You asked a question, I gave my experience. .
Its fine to speculate on what happend. Thats what we are all doing , but you seem to be taking challenges to your speculations on this case and making them into a broader argument about mens perspectives on rape in general.

You’re perceptive. Thanks. I was/am. It is called “being empathetic.” Apparently, a lot of males and Republicans are unable to imagine how others feel about something until the exact thing has happened to him/her.
