If they had drunk consensual sex, I think it becomes very blurry and unclear from a legal standpoint. Hence the discussion around this case.

How do you know they were drunk?

Please link to where you have read and watched? Other than a few people on here or other social media making that claim I have not seen it.

As I have said before, I believe in innocence until proven guilty. Every time I ask someone to provide a link or other evidence that doesn’t show that these guys didn’t no something wrong it’s ignored. There is a lot that we currently know about and seen that shows that they aren’t innocent.

I’m repeating what you said.

Are you so drunk that you don’t remember? If so that would be black out drunk.

Sweet arse strawman. You have no clue what I'd do. All we know is that you apparently support rapists that in tehir own words knew it was wrong. Keep projecting though.

Slow your roll there, baw.

You can say based on what we know that charging the uncle as a principal is a stretch. He may still be a POS. That’s not the issue. The issue is whether he is guilty of third degree rape.

If you watch a rape and fail to intervene, you are despicable, but you are not a criminal for that reason alone.

when did i say anything like this?

So now the guys shouldn’t be liable for their actions because they were lying.

are you so drunk you're seeing things that aren't actual there?

I have said it many times that the 4 guys in that car are pieces of shite. stop assuming i'm trying defend them.
all i'm saying is take their statements they gave the police with a grain of salt. Regardless if it makes them look good or bad, i'm not just going to 100% believe what they say. there's always two sides to the story, and then the truth.

Why is it ok for you to assume their statements they willingly gave are wrong?

he’s there to buy the drinks and get the girl(s) drunk (my own assumption)

and if you have sex with a drunk girl, it's not necessarily rape, but i think everyone agrees they shouldn't have done it as a decent human being and man, and they are all pieces of shite, but legally i can see a case for it not to be rape.

Much to the surprise of the idiots here, i do think what happened was rape, but i also want all of the facts to come out and there be a fair trial.

blackout drunk to you must mean something different than me, so your opinion means nothing.
blackout drunk means you literally cannot function. You can't even stand up on your own when blackout drunk. You aren't driving a car when blackout drunk.

Serious question - do you drink or know anyone who does? Blackout drunk means not remembering not passed out. You are describing being passed out or on the verge of it.

I quoted exactly what you posted. Go read the post that I responded to.

I’m not drunk. You can’t even recall what you posted a few minutes prior. You argued on numerous posts about being drunk versus black out drunk.

You not being able to remember what you posted is the definition of you being black out drunk.

Apparently you are either missing a chromosome or wanting to argue just to play stupid.

I didn't say they were wrong. I said we shouldn't just believe everything they say to be 100% the truth. There are always two sides to a story and then the truth.

why is it ok for you to assume their statements are 100% truthful? You guys are taking what they said in their statements as gospel. ANd yes they'll use it in court, but that doesn't mean everything they said was 100% accurate as to what actually happened that night. that's what the trial is for. The jury will determine the accuracy of their statements when more evidence is brought to light.

as if no one has ever lied in a statement to police. Think back to the witness in the Joe Mcknight incident. Everyone just took their word as truth that the shooter stood over McKinght and told him something and executed him. Except that didn't happen at all.

This is 100% your typical type of rape. Rapist have been taking advantage of women too drunk forever.

Whether it was slipping them a "Mickey", rookies, ghb...in this case it was alcohol.

Rapist prey on the weak and vulnerable...don't kid yourself.

yeah, and then i admitted that i was wrong b/c i wasn't aware black out drunk had an official definition. I assumed it was just slang, and meant passed out drunk. i was wrong, and i said that.
I understand that's hard for some of you dumbasses to comprehend that someone can admit when they were wrong.

let me know where i said "they aren't liable for their actions b/c they lied".
That doesn't even make sense.
It's just you being a dumbass trying to put words in my mouth.

all i said was we can't just assume everything they are saying is the truth. I didn't know so many of you dumbasses are ok with believing everything these guys have said to the police, as if they are all angels that would never lie or bend the truth.

no you didn't dumbass. I didn't change anything. Go find where i said "they aren't liable for their actions b/c they lied". You said that, putting words into my mouth, dumbass.

quote:

You are arguing that they admitted that they knew she was drunk but that they are lying.

no i am not.
I simply said don't take what they said as 100% the truth.
just b/c i'm not part of the lynch mob here that wants to go hang these guys right now doesn't mean i'm on their side.
I say "you can't take their word as 100% truth" and you're dumbass takes that as me trying to defend them and i'm on their side, so then you make shite up that you think i'm thinking.

Newsflash dumbass, i think they raped her. I"m not on their side.

I’m done with your dumbass.
