I did once get into an argument with some guy about Covid at a bar who said "Why bother thinking when you can just listen to the experts?"

Being programmed for the technocracy. That's the premise behind it.

In addition to owning nothing, you will not even have to think. All leisure all the time!

I can't imagine anybody, even people that this department would cater to, supporting something like this. Yet here we are.

They love the idea of this type of stuff when they're in power and lack the ability to think about the fact that "the other side" could (and will) take power and use it to their benefit.

An amazing lack of self awareness.

Oh, you naïve little puppets. Old tricks.

A man is inspecting cooling towers for the utility. A wind gust sends his hat two hundred feet below into the tower. On his expense report he includes the cost of his hat. Accounting sends the expense report back with a note. "We don't pay for lost personal hats." He sends his report back. Accounting sends another note. "The amount is the same, yet you removed the hat."

He sends a return note with his expense report.

"Find the hat."

It's still there .....just tucked away with a new name and a not so well recognized leader."

There are entirely too many departments/agencies/bureaus in the government. 95% of them (at least) need to be shut down for good.
