How lame is this state?

My next door neighbors son has got at least 15 DUI refusals in the last 10 years in MS. I know he has 2 pending right now that he got in the same week. He's probably driving drunk tonight.

Anything more than 2 you have serious problem. Anyone I have known or read about who got 3 or more were never just out having a few beers they are the ones them at get blacked out and drive.

What? He gets in a wreck drunk. Gets arrested. Bailed out.

Then hits it again and gets in another wreck drunk?

What a guy.

How in the Hell is this possible? Arrested in a crash and back behind the wheel 3 hours later? That has to be a misprint.

Guy needs to be forced to go to rehab for a year.

He is no doubt an incredibly shitty person for driving drunk .... however his time would damn near be better spent in rehab (then he can go to jail) rather than jail alone.

There probably should be a mandatory 12 hour gap between arrest and release.

Yeah, or just follow the SOB for the night and arrest him again if he gets in another vehicle to drive.

I mean WTF?

Jeffrey L. Blough, 51, was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday when he was driving a black Chevrolet Suburban westbound on Interstate 12 at Millerville Road and crashed into an outside retaining wall and then struck another vehicle.

Two victims were inside the second vehicle, which flipped upside down during the wreck, and they were taken to a hospital with injuries. One of the victims was seriously injured, with lacerations to the face and possible broken bones, the report says.

Police said Blough was extremely intoxicated and told officers he had consumed two beers and taken multiple prescription medications, the report says. His eyes were bloodshot and his speech incoherent, according to the report.

About three hours earlier, Blough had been arrested in a separate crash while driving intoxicated in Denham Springs, but he had since bailed out of jail, the report notes.

Imagine if someone would have died. How do you explain that if you're the BRPD?

How do you blame the police for this? They have arrested him multiple times. The police do not set the bail nor do they make the laws. This idiot will continue to drink and drive until he dies or is put in jail. Obviously he doesn't listen to what the laws says

To my knowledge, they have to sober up before they can leave.
