Yeah DKE is not what they used to be. They are almost all long-haired , barred-out rich kids paying 3k a semester in dues because they only have 20 paying members. None of the sororities will have events with them because all the girls are scared of them. Some are cool guys Im sure , but I would not want to get the shite beat out of me for a semester and have less than a 2.0 to not even be part of a good chapter

This was at Tulane in the late seventies. It was around Halloween and kids would ride their bikes past the house. The DEK's would come out and chase the kids. If the kids were caught they would trow them in the pit.

The Tau Lamda Chapter of DKE at Tulane has nothing to do with the Zeta Zeta Chapter at LSU.

This is why I couldn't be in a fraternity (other than the fact no one would let me in.. I know. I know). If someone tried to make me do some stupid shite like this and I wasn't on a sports team, I would be ready to fight them.
