You forgot about the part where I said it creates plans of care. Once a software starts making suggestions and/or predictions base off data, and can then tweak those suggestions based off user input or trends, that's the definition of AI.
Maybe Im not understanding well enough what you're saying. How have care plans been traditionally done? Im an engineer so I will admit that I do not have that understanding.
What does a doctor do with a care plan? Is it administering medications based on measurable inputs (weight, BMI, A1C, activity levels, ect.) What does it entail I guess is what im asking.

Assessment, goals, interventions, monitoring, discharge planning.
How do I fix this patient...

Right, i guess what im asking is if these are all measurables and can be calculated (or estimated) then its not AI.

UBI so we can all become artists in our new spare time

Ok. You fundamentally don't understand the difference between rule based systems and dynamic machine learning. If/And statements can't predict. Maybe do a little research. I won't be able to convince you.

AI is nowhere near as advanced as yall think it is. It can't reason or think, just calculate
True it is not intelligence. Naming it AI was a mistake and a misnomer.
But is absolutely going to put low level data analysts, anyone who quotes things like construction, one off salesmen, order takers, and secretarial type jobs completely out of the workforce in the next 10 years. Architects, engineers, designers, etc will also be massively impacted. It’ll be interesting to see how the economy shifts.
Before computers people had entire careers retyping and copying and organizing data. All of that went away.
Before Microsoft office people had entire jobs doing what excel and PowerPoint do now. All of that went away.
“AI” is going to cause a massive shift and market disruption. It’ll be a wild ride.

I agree with you. I think people will adapt better than expected and the changes you mentioned will likely free up capital for investment into new technology and careers.

I originally read this as a dissent and not a question. Apologies for my response.

Humans have something computers will never ever have.
Awareness.
A computer will always be far more efficient at, for example, logistics planning and management. A train full of passengers getting from point A to point B - computer wins!
Unless that train is going to Auchwitz in 1940’s.
At best, it will be programmed to mimick awareness, but it is still zeros and ones and not human awareness and experience that only humans know.
Keep human-centric and let AI make our worlds better. Or else.

'm of the opinion that schools are not a positive experience for most kids.
Depends on the kid. Which is partly why I think an AI assisistant / teacher would be better for education. The socializing part we can handle in different ways.
Just because Great Papaw went to a one room school to all learn exactly the same thing in the same way, doesn't mean that's an optimal model for how to train up human beings.

All good, I just realized my punctuation was trash and that matters.

Make an argument as to why im wrong?
Technological history doesn't bear this out. There is just no chance the technology remains stagnant. It seems as if you are looking at the lowest common denominator of random retards asking ChatGPT and grok dumbass questions, but that is really only the tip of the iceberg.
To add onto the instances of AI usage in Healthcare, etc., I was just speaking to an old college buddy of mine who says his productivity has greatly improved by using AI to streamline his workflow and workload. Things that took him 8 hours are now accomplished in 1. Obviously, this is anecdotal, but I doubt it is rare.
I'm not one that thinks AI will take over the world, but I do believe its usage will continue to expand as more people find uses for it and as computing power continues to expand.
