I put a bathroom tile in the yard with a marker so I can find it to give my Baws an accurate measurement when this is all over.

With 8" of snow being forecast, we want to remind the wives of River Ranch just how deep that is using this reference point:

It's the boyfriend, not the husband.

Stay indoors, hunker down, and stay warm.

Your aluminum patio cover should be able to sustain a pressure of 10 lbs/sq. foot. So given 2300 lubs of wet snow, if your patio cover is more than 230 square feet (slightly more than 15 x 15 ft), you're okay.

Just went outside here in NW Calcasieu. Grass is completely covered. Still probably only half and inch total. Been constant for 3 hours but nothing really heavy.

It’s dry powder. It’s blowing around. Not what we are used too.

All the apps keep bringing totals down. Basically saying I’m going to only get flurries till around 9. Two inches max. I don’t know. I’m in the real time now.

Yep. Even the one holding strong is saying max 3 inches. It’s Petering out apparently. Hopefully our guys to the east get some heavy shite.

An hour ago we (Youngsville) were getting some flurries and I was wondering how much harder it would have to come down to actually accumulate...

It's freakin SNOWING now

Good to know b/c it's hard tell on radar how 'heavy' it is

Stopped here in Opelousas at the moment, not sure how much we got but it was enough to turn the roofs and vehicles white, can still see some grass poking up though. Also had a huge arse owl fly right by my head when I was sitting on the porch, posted up in a tree like 10 feet away and just watched the snow with me for a bit. Pretty cool.

There’s still quite a bit of moisture back all to San Antonio. I bet we get this til right after lunch.
