Opelousas had a few snowflakes an hour ago, but nothing since. Weather app on phone says moderate snow expected in 35 mins. Who knows.

i'm one of those slow people, but if i have understood correctly, if the dew point is significantly lower than the temperature, conditions are not good for snow because there is not enough moisture in the air...if the dew point is closer to the temperature, there is more likely to be snow...
