The Euro wanted to eject it too far north early with the GFS sniffing out the southern solution. Storm path was obvious once we figured out where it was coming off the Rockies.

But this set up shows another success of the models in recent years... when an outlier event happens, they spot it early.

Just a mess of nasty storms rolling through the Midwest right now. Some pretty strong mesos that are trying to get going, but just can't.

You folks North of Fort Smith, AR should really watch that Severe Warned storm nearing the state line. It is nasty, and I'm convinced it put down at least a brief tornado about 10-15 minutes ago.
