I think most people don't want to give their kids less than they had growing up, and it's becoming harder and harder to match what boomers provided through credit card debt and reckless spending.

AI will be the dominate race and will have a nice supply of manual labor. I can’t believe people so are against abortion, birth control, and snipping people who have a criminal record. It somehow has become an ethical issue.

It does, but the lower IQ types are actually far more "responsible" than they've been in the past. Teen birth rates are down significantly across all races. The birth rates for those below poverty level in the US are down 18% from 2005-2016, and those between 100%-199% over the poverty level are down 13% over that same time period. Unfortunately, the birth rates for those 200% or more of the federal poverty level are basically unchanged over that time period.

The lower SES groups once generally were family units, had a working family member and contributed positively to society. The decline began in the late 60s.

The problem continues to be the fact that higher SES groups are having fewer and fewer children.
