They did say they found a shotgun in the trunk of the car....

Here's another article referencing the sister and her male companion which says the three of them arrived together. The companion survived. Maybe he knows something, but it doesn't sound like it, so far.

Doesn't sound like he had the weapons in the car. Sounds like stowed them away in the alley prior to riding to the location with his sister and her friends.

He planned this to a T for sure. Killing his sister is very confusing. Havent seen it mentioned how long it took for him to exit the car then return shooting, but it sounds like it was pretty quick.

Asked to specifically be dropped off at that location and ask them to "wait" and he'll be right back, knowing that where he stowed his weapons and ammo

He comes back blasting and targets the car his sister and friend are in, then proceeds to shoot people on the street before attempting to enter the bar.

The car was parked a few blocks from where the shooting took place. Doesn't sound like they were shot in the car.

Originally, probably not, but the times change.

Now we have a criminal element in society that is much more violent and prevalent than our founding fathers had to deal with. As society has modernized, criminals have modernized, so in response the average citizen has had to up their protective game for not only themselves but their loved ones and their property as well.

I think it's likely this guy's liberalism didn't really motivate the shooting, although it certainly could be part of the overall soup for why this guy was a fricked up malcontent.

That said, it's absurd that I just watched NBC discuss how police don't think this was racially motivated but they're checking, etc. without saying anything about him having social media pages full of angry lefty ranting.

I think it's because they look scary to someone that doesn't understand how they work.

I forget which media personality it was but he showed people in San Francisco a Ruger Mini 14 ranch rifle and an AR15 and asked if either should be banned.

Pretty much to a person they all wanted the AR banned but most said the Mini 14 was fine. They shoot the same round and depending on the magazine can have the same capacity.
