Second of all, like I said would happen, Alexander and his sky is falling bullshite won't get him what he wants AND it's hurting the unversity...anyone still wanna claim he's right to do what he's doing? Dude is an arse clown

He was a fool to go about it in this manner, but it never should've gotten to this point. Jindal has done more to weaken LSU than any governor in my lifetime, including that moron Blanco. It's an absolute embarrassment that while the state flagship university is sinking, Piyush is jetting all over the county on Louisiana taxpayer dollars.

All bullshite aside, the state should cut their voucher program and slash Medicare. Raise the corp. tax and lower the individual tax. Also cut police spending. Oh and increase licenses.

I wonder if he considered any real negative consequences from their publicity strategy.

Dang, y'all need some Michael Crow (president) in your universities. Students hate him at ASU, but the man is a pure business genius. We've had dorms pop up like crazy, premium dorms too, deals to build State Farm's SW HQ in a once parking lot, Starbucks partnership, online classes like they're weeds on a abandoned lot, freshmen required to dorm their first year, etc.

Alexander should be fired for lying and embarassing the university. There is no way in hell we would allow LSU to go bankrupt. Hell, we would cut off health care and food for the poor before we would let that happem.

You're probably one of the geniuses that voted to protect the majority of Louisiana's budget from cuts - all the legislature can touch because of everything being protected is education and parts of health care.

I wish there was a 90 year old senator with no grandkids going into politics that would bring a bill to committee to do away with all of these protected accounts. It would be career suicide.

State could end subsidies to the film industry and that would be more than enough to provide state funding to LSU.

Looks like Alexander's scare tactics backfired by fricking over the school. He should be fricking ashamed of himself.

I'm waiting on him to drop the big bomb that he has been holding in his back pocket and that is that Tulane is going to buy LSU through the pending bankruptcy sale.
