Similar situation in my household. Booze fricks with my sleep bad, I try not to have any drinks at all after 7pm most days. Hangovers for me cause lethargy, brain fog, and maybe an upset stomach for a couple of hours after waking, but my wife gets awful physical hangovers and the symptoms can last for 2 days if she gets really drunk.

Exact same for me. I’ve never gotten the nausea, headache, throwing up thing the day after. I always feel like I’m half as smart, have trouble thinking straight and forming coherent sentences.

Mine are akin to exhaustion with general malaise. My wife doesn’t even get hangovers. She’s up doing shite around the house all day.

Basically where I'm at. Trying to knock some homework out right now and all I can think about is how easy it would be if I was sober. Since I decided to drink I'm transposing numbers and generally making boneheaded errors.

My wife and I both get the hangover dumb. It's like 2 toddlers trying to have a conversation the next day. Not one complete sentence will be heard.

Drinking at all is bad for you. It can take some people's bodies up to 5 days to fully recover. Personally, it takes me two days. Day one, I'm actually hungover. Day two, my physiological signs like resting heart rate and HRV still aren't fully recovered so my sleep is less than ideal.

That is typical for most people with as little at two drinks

I actually agree with you on something

Well, I don't really think binge drinking is cool. I do it probably 1-2 times a year when my wife and I go out and drink because it's fun in the moment. I couldn't care less about being "cool".

Also, I didn't binge drink last night. I had 2.5 glasses of red wine with my turkey and sweet potatoes.

I do agree with you, though. It's awful for you.

Yes. I get the Hangxiety now. That's why I slowed down my drinking.

Easily the worst part about drinking in your late 20s/early 30s.

College, it used to be a massive headache, but once you got over that hump - all good.

Now I feel like after that, there's another wave where I need a xanax, warm shower, and a 10 hour nap.
