You know what I did last week as an unvaccinated individual after my vaccinated nephew gave it to me on Christmas eve? Stayed home and beat the hangover in 3 days.
If you left the house after those 3 days, you spread it too

“It is kind of hard,” he said. “We just had some people come in from Kansas. It’s different rules. It’s different rules in the city of New Orleans than everywhere else, and people don’t quite understand that, and they’re caught off guard and there’s not much they can do but go to Metairie.”

If Mardi Gras actually happens and she is actually going to be in a parade, I hope that stupid arse bitch gets pelted nonstop with bags of beads

There. Is. No. Reason. To. Vaccinate. Kids.
They are not at risk. Yes they can spread it but. At this point.
They need to open it all up and relax all restrictions. If people want to be vaxxed they have the choice. If people want to not be vaxxed that's their choice.
No one goes around wondering if the person near you has the measles Vax or a flu shot.
This shite has gotten stupid and we need reasonable people in both parties to stand up to it.

I wish we didn’t have to click on threads to find a certain page

It is impossible to feel sorry for New Orleans business owners at this point. They've either actively supported Destroya or have sat on their hands and let all of this happen without so much as questioning it.
They, along with all of the residents of the city, deserve whatever they get.

My husband had work lunch in New Orleans the other day and had to show vax card. I’m wondering if I should send him back to same place with his positive Covid test he received today ? He wasn’t sick when he went to eat there.Just curious how that is working out for the restaurants. What a shite show .

Let the city burn. It's well deserved.

I can't imagine spending 1 hr in that complete fricking shithole city now.
What does it offer? ZERO
Crime, smells like sewage, overpriced everything, shitty losers begging for $ by tapping buckets or painting themselves and being a statue...etc etc etc
Leadership is the worst in America (that's saying a lot)
Food sucks for the most part, and my God, Bourbon is the most overrated tourist spot anywhere.
It's just bizarre that any person or company would intentionally plan on having an event there.

quote:
Effective starting at 6:00 AM on Monday, March 21st, 2022, the City of New Orleans' public health guidelines requiring proof of vaccination or proof of a recent negative COVID test to enter certain establishments has been lifted.
Residents should prepare for the likelihood of future surges by continuing to assess risk levels for themselves and loved ones and relying on proven mitigation strategies: testing, masks, and staying up to date with COVID vaccinations. The City encourages all residents and visitors to get vaccinated if they have not already done so, including booster shots.
Mask requirements will continue where federally mandated, such as on public transportation and healthcare facilities.
