2 cant you not find your own trim?

Depends on if you want him to stay your friend. And not just because of how he feels. Every time the three of y'all are together, in the back of your mind you will know he hit that first and no telling what he did to her.

If you have to ask, your are a shitty bro.

Bro's ex is off limits. Your ex is off limits to him.

Doesn't matter if she's an OT 9.5
doesn't matter if she's rich
doesn't matter if she's funny (lol yeah right)

basically there isn't anythign at all that matters about how perfect this girl is...you do not ever, under any circumstances, date your best friends ex. Assuming they were serious and had feeligns and whatnot. Just some skank he dated a few weeks, that's a different story.

This literally is one of those circumstances where it's for a friend.

I'm trying to prove a point to how shitty this is.

I have a friend that started dating another of my friend's ex in college. My friend that dated her before was not pleased. The other friend ended up marrying the girl. I could never do that, just for the fact of there is no way I'm marrying one of my friend's sloppy seconds.

Last year I made a benzo inspired online pass at my ex's best friend. She was living in London, told her if she went to the airport a ticket to MSY would be waiting. Had she been single, from her response I think she would have came.

Obviously this is an issue if your friend still cares about her in any way and you intend to stay friends with him.

Not if your friend truly hates his ex and has moved on.

Honestly, I don't give a shite if it's my actual brother, if the female is fine enough and not bat shite crazy, I am willing to bend the rules and risk creating some awkward moments around the family during the holidays.

I had a VERY BEST friend undermine a relationship and then date my ex after we broke up. I hate I lost a best friend but I hope to never run into him.

I married a close friend's college ex. (definitely not "best" friend though)

We started dating like a year after they broke up and I got his blessing. He cheated on her and was dating the side piece and had graduated school at that point. We just knew each other from college, not like childhood friends or anything.

ETA:

How long did they date.
- several years
How long have they been apart.
- 1 year
How hot is she.
- she is quite hot...hottest I have ever been with...thus the marriage thing

FTR, me and said friend aren't close anymore, nor did we grow up together or anything. Just a really cool guy who I got drunk with a lot in college, and definitely not the territorial type at all. Kind of didn't give a shite.
