Absolutely sucked for 50% of the stadium who heard the backside of the fricking speakers. Good job planning that sound system. Should have piped it over the PA then it would have sounded like shite for free.

Yeah, it was excellent. Sounded fine in the South end zone. I wonder how many people posting in this thread actually heard it live. I'm going with 3.

Yep, right after 9/11.

Think if they do it in the future they should mic the Tiger Band a little bit too and add it to the speaker mix. Seemed to totally defeat the purpose of playing together when the mix going out was devoid of the marching band at all.
Also add flashes or some sort of movement with the horns as well. Seemed like Tiger Band was lifeless out there. The Golden Girls/Color Guard orchestration was also just goofy (more so than a typical performance) as they alternated turns dancing in front of 3 Doors Down.

One of the SEC channel guys was janking on the whole thing during the telecast.

It sucked being on the east side. You really couldn't hear them clearly.

That unpleasant feeling when you're trying to watch a football game and a 3 doors down concert breaks out.

Say what you want but it sounded fine to me and actually wasn't terribly performed. I enjoyed it

Wow. I bet those guys are sick of that song. I watched them play it 15 years ago in the Cajun Dome when they opened for Creed. Yeah I saw Creed in concert, big whoop, wanna fight about it?
Had a bunch of friends that went to that concert, they were so excited, talked about it for a month.

I really enjoyed it, but I'm not a hate on what's popular kinda person. I'm not too familiar with them but I've heard the song Kryptonite before. I sit in the west uppers and could hear everything perfectly.

Probably not as sick of playing that song as they are of eating ramen noodles and dinty moore for dinner.
