People hiding in bathrooms and bathtubs is not the same as walking into a tornado you fricking moron. This thread is hilarious.

This is the real answer from actual people that aren’t talking out of their arse or think every tornado they see is an F5:
“Good question. Yes, the stunt is possible to do however there are a few factors that would need to be in place. #1. Tornados typically move over 25 mph so you would not be able to run directly into it from a side angle. You would need to have it coming directly at you and run towards it. Safety: Assuming the storm is traveling over a flat field with no debris other than grass/dirt being picked up, the chances of a projectile injuring you is minimal as long as you are wearing proper gear. And no, anyone claiming a projectile blown by winds of an F3 tornado has more force than a bullet shot from a gun is a retard. Yes, a bulletproof vest would prevent literally anything from puncturing your body. The most difficult part about this challenge would be maintaining balance and movement in extreme wind. Most strong athletic men can lean into hurricane force and higher winds. But a tornado would not have consistent winds you could lean into. They’d be more chaotic and most likely knock you off balance.
Why has this not been attempted? Well, it has happened inadvertently a few times and been captured on film. Recall the popular 1990s video that was filmed from under an overpass where a tornado went directly over the person filming. But again tornados are difficult to get in front of due simply to road accessibiliy and they move fast. Being in position to do an “on the foot” intercept in an open field requires moving your car to safety along with pinpointing the exact spot a tornado will pass over. Very difficult. Will it happen one day? Probably.

What if you put on a helmet along with other safety gear, and wore a go pro type body camera, and ran directly into a tornado. On foot. How close would you get?

I’m talking professional safety gear. Bullet proof vest etc. To be as safe as possible,
You realize you could be flung hundreds of yards or even miles away in the air?

When it comes to tornado damage people logically focus on the big, jaw dropping damage: the vehicles, trees, homes slabbed, etc. What is often overlooked is how efficiently violent tornadoes can break down that large debris into increasingly smaller pieces.
That process is called debris granulation. Granulated debris is overlooked in the post-storm analysis, but it tells the story of Nature's fury better than anything else.
See the small bits of debris blanketing the ground and in small windrow-like deposits?
All of that came from much larger pieces of houses, trees, vegetation, etc. In the most extreme cases it can be broken down nearly into powder......in seconds. The Smithville, MS EF5 on April 27, 2011 was moving at approximately 65mph when it leveled the town. It impacted a given location for a matter of seconds, yet left new concrete driveways looking as though it had 100+ years of wear. Painted wood siding on homes left standing looked like it had literally been sandblasted for hours. Large objects were reduced to nothing. A flatbed 18 wheeler trailer is still yet to be located now nearly 15 years later.
High end violent tornadoes are remarkable at breaking down large debris and they do it in short order. The air around and in the meso fills with that lighter debris as it is carried for miles and miles. It can debride bark from mature trees and wear rough concrete smooth. It did all of that in Smithville in the mater of a few seconds.

You are now leaving the realm of trolling and entering the territory of idiocy, following in the footsteps of SFP. Arguing in favor of the most ridiculous takes known to man.
