Huh? 26…where’d you get that? I know in Charlotte, there is a neurosurgeon on each sideline. They always wear Red NFL shirts.
I’m sure there’s Orthopods from each team there too. But 26?

Commotio cordis possibly? Heard of it happening in baseball when you get hit in the chest with a line drive or pitch.

I had it happen to a teammate on my softball team during a game. RC and SS running to catch a pop up and collided. SS knee hit RC in the chest. We gave CPR until paramedics showed up and they worked on him for a long time. Brought him back multiple times, got him to the ER. He coded several times in the ER but they never gave up on him and luckily he survived.

With that said, the response from the player I witnessed first hand and what I saw on the field was not the same. My teammate did not try to get up. This one looks more like cardiac arrest.

Maybe the game restart is tomorrow evening or possibly Wednesday Noon at the latest.

The injured player’s condition tomorrow morning would probably factor in to the resumption scheduling.

ETA: The NFL are wise not to attempt to set up a time frame tonight.

Bunch of soccer players world wide happen to.

John Stockton of NBA fame mentioned 150 athletes worldwide have had this happen.

I get the sentiment but they are waiting for the NFL to make a call like everyone else.

bullshite. They can cut to another feed and use a ticker. Possibly could be in their contract they can't, but sue me if I'm running ESPN tonight.

I love all the people on here, who’s most extensive medical experience is making a visit to the local urgent care to see an NP for Strep Throat, giving all this medical opinion and facts.

Why, though? Is showing college football highlights somehow more respectful?

I just don’t get why anyone would be upset about the coverage.
