Was able to check in with my family in Dayton. The tornado hit about a mile away. Thank god.

looks like it could just be a straight up reflectivity map as well. the blue areas are just higher areas of reflectivity which is a product of a tornadic debris signature (tds)

That’s the most dangerous scenario. Nowhere to take cover, no cell service, no power. Everyone gets out and about looking at damage and there could be another one heading your way

My son's school in Brookville near Dayton had the roof ripped off. I was talking to him while they were hunkered in the basement. Scary stuff but he's all good. School is screwed though
